Upgrading audiovisual systems at London Fire Brigade headquarters

The London Fire Brigade wanted to install equipment that is easy for users to understand and highly reliable.

Location | London

Solution

Meeting spaces were fitted with powerful projectors, multiple screens of various sizes, speakers, amplifiers, induction loop systems and various microphone types were installed. Wireless display adaptors, conference cameras and push-button wall panels were installed across all rooms to achieve standardisation and support the London Fire Brigade’s “simplicity” objective.

We replaced an old video wall in the LFB atrium with a 98” large format display that serves several purposes. Also, the Commissioner’s suite was upgraded with several large monitors. The monitors can also show separate feeds on four monitors simultaneously. Carillion went on to install equipment in three large rooms on the ground floor that opened up to create one very large space.

Result

The AV equipment is flexible and switchable, enabling high-quality sound in every corner of every room. Furthermore, the new system is reliable and easy to use, improving communication throughout the spaces.
