Fundraising for the Community
At Carillion, we are deeply committed to our community responsibilities. Each year, we rally behind a different local charity, aiming to create a significant and positive influence. Our calendar is filled with engaging fundraising initiatives, such as charity quizzes and meet-and-eat lunches, held almost every month. These events are designed to actively engage our staff and community in our philanthropic endeavours. This approach not only provides essential support to those in need but also fosters a culture of generosity and unity within our team.
Net Zero Carbon Ambition
In line with our strategic goal to be an exemplary organisation, we are committed to sustainability and aim to achieve Net Zero carbon emissions for carbon from our estate (Scope 1 and 2). We also aim to be Net Zero carbon for our operations (Scope 3) as soon as possible thereafter. Our efforts are driven by the Sustainable Office Group and the Net Zero Carbon Project, which report to the NAO’s Executive Team and Board.
A crucial aspect of our Net Zero carbon ambition is to reduce the carbon footprint created by our suppliers on our behalf. Any assistance you can provide in this area would be greatly appreciated.
