Video collaboration installed for the General Dental Council

Solution

Carillion Communications installed some major new audiovisual facilities in the council chamber, including video collaboration solutions, to allow for more effective council meetings and for remote participants to be included. The facility is managed by an ‘easy to use’ Automated Video Control System. 

Result

The new microphone system means that meetings can now be more spontaneous and natural, particularly when a remote participant is connected via video collaboration.

All dentists, dental nurses, dental technicians, clinical dental technicians, dental hygienists, dental therapists and orthodontic therapists must be registered with the GDC to work in the UK.
